They interviewed his son, and he was saying some weird stuff. He started basically defending his dad and then went on a political rant to the Daily Mail, talking about South Park.
I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that’s his choice. I’m not saying that’s what he’s done or what he’s about, that’s just my own rant being fed up with it all for my entire adult life. South Park said it best, every 4 years we’re forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, and it all stays fucked in the same ways by different degrees, and we’re exhausted and embarrassed by it all.

Now the alleged would-be shooter’s son has been… arrested for child porn?

The son of the man who allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course was arrested on child pornography charges Tuesday, according to court records.
Oran Alexander Routh, whose father is Ryan Wesley Routh, the man prosecutors say set up a “sniper’s nest” at the edge of Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach when Trump was golfing there earlier this month, has been charged with two counts of receipt and possession of child pornography.
According to the complaint, FBI agents were searching Oran Routh’s residence and devices on September 21, days after his father was arrested, “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”
A source familiar with the investigation tells CNN the search was conducted in relation to the investigation of Ryan Wesley Routh.
Investigators found “hundreds of child pornography files” on an SD card from one of Oran Routh’s devices, court documents say. Agents also uncovered chats on devices they say belong to Oran Routh with an individual advertising cloud storage links for sale which included child exploitation content.
The search “unrelated to child exploitation” would no-doubt be something connected to the shooting. He might have been investigated just for saying that weird shit to the Daily Mail, but maybe he was actually in contact with his father and might have even egged him on regarding the shooting.
Whenever anyone is getting their home searched for some other reason and the feds say they find child porn, you have to wonder if it’s real. The feds are accountable to no one, and they could easily just place a hard drive in your house.
In this case, one would wonder if the shooter was a patsy set up by the FBI, and one would wonder if his son had some information about that. That’s what you would wonder. If they put child porn in his house in order to silence him because he knew something.
That said, the dad is a weirdo, so it’s possible his son was encouraging the shooting, which gave the feds an excuse to raid his home, and they really did find child porn. That’s certainly possible. I mean, look at the guy’s face. The problem is, you just can’t trust anything the feds say.
