Most Western media is downplaying the role Trump had in ending the Korea farce, sometimes claiming that the meeting between the two leaders was symbolic (more on that about 3 minutes into the video in this article) and not going to change anything.
The fact that the South Korean government is now taking down their anti-North propaganda seems like the situation is a lot more than just exchanging pleasantries because of some desire to be perceived as not completely irrational by both sides.
