Modern Tokyo is a hip spot where everyone wants to be.

The South Korean parliament – which yes, they apparently have, I also thought they had an emperor or something – has passed a resolution demanding Tokyo crack down on “hate speech” against them.

The whiny resolution refers to protests staged against Koreans living in Japan and feeding off of the Japanese people, which has upset Japanese nationalists (note: all Japanese people are nationalists).

Asahi Shimbun:

The resolution, adopted during a plenary session, specifically mentioned rallies by a group called Zainichi Tokken wo Yurusanai Shimin no Kai (Group of citizens who do not tolerate privileges for ethnic Korean residents in Japan), known more commonly as Zaitokukai.

“(These demonstrations are) not the exercise of freedom of expression, but constitute an act of violence that incurs grave pain and wounds to Korean residents in Japan,” the resolution said.

It also demanded that the Korean government make diplomatic efforts to protect the safety of Koreans in Japan.

Street demonstrations targeting foreigners have become more prevalent since 2008. Zaitokukai is one of the main instigators of the campaigns, which typically feature the display of Japanese flags and the blaring of racist insults through handheld microphones.

End Japanese privilege in Japan! Japan is for all people! Everyone has a right to live in Japan! Diversity is what invented the Playstation 4! Japan is a land of immigrants! Without diversity Japan can never be vibrant!
