Activists covered in fake blood staged an anti-bull fighting performance in Madrid on Friday, coinciding with the annual ‘Bull Run’ in Pamplona.
The organisers built a bullring in the middle of Puerta del Sol, where dozens of performers lay in black underwear with lances placed on their backs, simulating bulls suffering in pain after being stabbed. The action was organised by Gladiators for Peace.
The San Fermin or Running of the Bulls is held annually in Pamplona. Every morning for seven days, six bulls chase runners along a route through the old town and toward the city’s bullring.
Everyone is agitated and looking for something to fight for.
You also have men being led by women into this type of nonsense. Note that it is mostly women, but then you’ve got the beta followers. Who apparently genuinely believe these women have something going through their brains beyond “things that are mean are bad.”
We eat cows.
The Spanish have traditionally killed bulls in a ritualistic manner in a way that is viewed as honoring the bull.
It is a cultural activity which has historical relevance, and no one is being hurt by it.
Everything has to be hunted down and destroyed though. Ban everything.
Ban bullfighting then ban people saying it shouldn’t have been banned.
