Spanish Prime Minister Gets Straight Punched in the Face

The Prime Minister of Spain has been punched straight in his dumb face.

It wasn’t a great punch. But there it is. People are really angry.

Mariano Rajoy, Spain’s prime minister, was punched in the face Wednesday while on the campaign trail ahead of Sunday’s general election.

The 60-year-old was in the town of Pontevedra in Galicia, northwestern Spain, where he grew up, when he was punched in the side of the head. The assault was caught by TV cameras.The assailant was a 17-year-old, local police said, and was arrested at the scene.

The attacker was stood next to the prime minister when he struck, catching Rajoy by surprise. Spanish TV showed Rajoy falling but he was stopped from hitting the ground by people around him.
