Spic Professor Allows Spic Students to Choose Their Own Grade

This used to be the ideal of a Western center of learning. Sigh…

No matter how low you bring down the bar, brown people will struggle to clear it. This is a big problem for universities, who see their plans for “diversifying” their schools foiled by the bottomless pit of brown incompetence.

Well, we might have just stumbled upon the ultimate and final solution to “equalize” the grades of shitholers with those of White students.

The College Fix:

A literature class at Davidson College this fall will use “contract grading,” allowing students to pick ahead of time their grade for the class and the workload they need to complete to earn it.

The offer is posed by Professor Melissa Gonzalez for her Introduction to Spanish Literatures and Cultures course, SPA 270, at the private liberal arts college in Davidson, North Carolina.

In case you thought maybe “Spanish Literature” involved reading Don Quixote or whatever, think again.

This bitch is a full-tilt SJW nut job from “la raza cosmica.” Her idea of “Spanish literature” probably involves the minutes of Aztec human sacrifice rituals and Mexican rap lyrics.

Gotta love “Spanish literature.”

In other words, the only people who could possibly be interested in her lectures are her fellow taco-mongers, and maybe a few dumb sluts here and there. I’m sure that kind of human material will be absolutely fair in handing themselves grades based on the work they’ll do.

She is one of several professors across the nation who allow this pick-your-own grade method, billed as a way to eliminate the student-professor power differential and give students control of their education. But critics contend it is just another example of how colleges coddle students from the harsh realities of the real world, which includes competition and goal expectations.

Lol, “eliminate the student-professor power differential.”

I’ve got an idea for you, shitlibs. How about the students assign the work, and then grade the teacher at the end of the semester? That’ll eliminate the “power differential.”

But maybe you don’t wanna do that, huh? Maybe there’s a reason for that differential?

A differential in a classroom allows the students to learn without slipping into a state of apathy.

Maybe professors have power over the students because they’re supposed to know what they’re talking about. But of course, if you’re teaching “queer theory,” you know very well that you’re not any more qualified to be a professor than any of your students, so I guess removing that distinction makes sense in that context.

As for Gonzalez, she argues there is “a strong pedagogical rationale for contract grading” in an Aug. 1 email to students obtained by The College Fix. “It can help students focus on learning more than on grades, and therefore make more progress in their learning, with less anxiety.”

Gonzalez did not respond to repeated email requests for comment from The College Fix.

“I aim to foster classroom environments that are radically democratic and empower intellectual risk-taking,” Gonzalez states in her profile on the school’s website.

Yeah, I’m not sure this dumb bitch understands the implications of this. If students can give themselves whatever grades they want, then nothing stops neon-Nazi students from taking her class, giving themselves “A” grades and producing long reports on beaner criminality and intellectual inferiority.

I guess her college is so liberal that this possibility never even occurred to her.

In her email, Gonzalez urged her former students to sign up for SPA 270, indicating that only two students have enrolled thus far and the class is in danger of being canceled.

“I want to make sure you know about some important innovations I am introducing in the course [contract grading] so that you can decide today or as soon as possible whether you want to take SPA 270 in Fall 2018. If you do, please use ADD/DROP as soon as possible to add it, or the course will have to be cancelled,” she wrote.

This is even more ridiculous than I thought. Nobody wanted to sign up for her dumb burrito literature class, and she’s using the fact that students can assign their own grades as a selling point to get more enrollment. This is basically bribery – “this class is free credits, you won’t have to do any real work.”

Gonzalez is a Hispanic Studies professor who also teaches in the Gender and Sexuality Studies department. In her email, she told students they could “sign a contract indicating the work that they will do in order to earn that grade.”

Right.

So they can say “I’ll write a one-page report on some rap song, and get an A.”

“Wow, that goes right on the fridge!”

We understand how this works.

This is exactly the kind of shenanigans that are done in universities all over the country in order to actually get brown people to graduate. Treat grown adults like little babies, to level the playing field with White people.

The worst thing about this grading method is that White people are likely to have inferior scores to basically all other races, since we’re the only ones with a sense of inner justice. Everyone else would just award themselves perfect grades without hesitation, while most of the White kids give themselves lower grades either through honesty or modesty.

But even ignoring that, this retarded system doesn’t enforce any sort of relationship between the quality of the student’s work or the depth of their understanding and the grade they’re given. Nothing prevents a lazy and stupid student from getting a higher grade than a student who has perfect mastery of the subject.

This is just more evidence of the downfall of the educational establishment.
