Sweden… No?

New YouGov poll from Sweden.

Swedish Democrats: 24%
Socialists: 22.3%
Moderates: 17.4%
Centre party: 11.7%

The Swedish Democrats are polling high.

This is good.

For comparison, here’s the situation as it stands, from the 2014 election:

They’ve doubled support, while support for the socialist ruling party has collapsed, losing a third of its potential voters. Moderates also losing support. They are effectively an extension of the socialists – wildly pro-immigration, wildly pro-EU.

Also note that the Centre Party has gained over 5 points. They are a pro-immigration party, however, they distinguish themselves from Lofven’s insane “free everything for everyone from everywhere” policy, at least rhetorically.

I have approximately zero faith in them as a party, as they are along the same lines as Geert and Marine – sellouts and Jew-lovers, who don’t even push for actual nationalism, but instead argue that brown people should be forced to “integrate,” which is in fact impossible.

However, I generally support the election of these right-wing-lite parties, as when they become the middle, the far-right becomes within the realm of the normal.

I know we say “OVERTON WINDOW!!!!!!” a lot, but we say it a lot because it is so real and it is so important, and the right-lite parties absolutely do move the center.

If SD is the government, then Nordfront is the right-of-center, rather than the unthinkable far-far-far-far-away right-wing Neo-Nazi extremist who are down by law.

It’s sort of the same thing with Donald Trump, though I think honestly, Trump is a lot further right and a lot more likely – at least in theory – to accomplish some kind of real change than any of these Euro-lite parties.

BUT – I of course endorse the Swedish Democrats, and want everyone to get out there and vote, and get as many people as you can to join you.

No, we aren’t going to change our system of government by voting. At least, there is very, very little chance of that. However, we do change the general climate of what is and isn’t considered socially acceptable thought, which is our most important task at this time.

The election is not until September of next year, unless Lofven is stupid enough to pull a Theresa and try to get a mandate with a snap election, which he probably is not stupid enough to do.

Obviously, there are going to be many more terrorist attacks in Sweden between now and September of 2018, along with the normal outrageous rapes, murders, robberies and gang violence associated with vibrant enrichment. So the SD numbers are going to go nowhere but up over the next 15 months.

Unlike Geert and Marine, they are almost certain to win.

This isn’t the greatest thing of all time, but it’s a pretty good thing.
