Dear Frenchies: are you sure that these people are just like you except for the color of their skin?
Because I’ve never heard of any white people destroying their own cities after a World Cup victory.
Come to think of it, I’ve never heard of any white people destroying their own cities after a World Cup loss, either.
The Croatians simply had a party then went to bed.
I’m not making any definitive statements here; I’m just saying that this is a little odd.
French celebrations over the national football team’s World Cup victory on Sunday quickly turned to violence, with street clashes, vandalism, attacks on police, and scenes of looting in cities across the country.
On gagne, ça casse.
On perd, ça casse.
As many as a million people had been enjoying the “good-natured atmosphere” at an event on the Champs-Élysées in Paris following France’s 4-2 win against Croatia, which ministers had hoped would bring a “great moment” of “national unity”.
But by 11 pm the jubilant mood had turned to chaos, with what local media describes as “bands of thugs” launching projectiles including bottles at police, who responded by firing tear gas while the area was evacuated.
Ordinary football fans fled the streets when violence first broke out earlier in the evening, with troublemakers even launching empty glass bottles at families with children, according to Le Figaro, which reported that scenes of vandalism and looting broke out including a kiosk set alight and the destruction of numerous cars.
I’m assuming “ordinary football fans” is a code word for “actual French people,” since only white people flee from street violence rather than partake in it.
Well, except for English hooligans.
But this isn’t about them.
Anyway, looting and rioting – to varying degrees of severity – is pretty much a normal occurrence in post-enrichment Paris. The city is filled with “no-go” zones in which roaming gangs of hajis and niggers duke it out over ill-defined territorial disputes, and, as we can see, it certainly doesn’t take much to set them off.
It’s definitely quite a transformation from the Paris of the 1950s, that’s for sure.
But as fellow white person Barbara Lerner Specter reminds us, without such a transformation, Europe will not survive.
According to RT, two people died and more than 500 ending up being arrested before the riots ended.
RT:
Hours after the nation’s football team clinched the World Cup in Russia, elation was replaced by an eruption of violence and rioting on the streets of France that left two people dead and saw more than 500 people arrested.
…
Joy turned to tragedy when ugly scenes broke out across the country. It is reported that more than 500 people were arrested during the evening after the win and around 100,000 police officers were out on the streets.
A further 44,000 firefighters were called in to deal with the scenes and a further 845 cars were vandalised during the disturbances. Metro services and other public transport were temporarily suspended at the height of the disturbances.
That’s an insane number of policemen and firemen. And for what? To mop up the destruction committed by races that shouldn’t be in Europe in the first place, and who will do the same thing again the following week for some other trivial reason.
Then the policemen and firemen will be bused in once more, at considerable danger to themselves, to repeat what they’ve done countless times before.
It’s all so tiresome.
