Responding to the ISIS attack in San Bernardino, African National and President of America Barack Obama said:
I know there are some who reject any gun safety measures. But the fact is that our intelligence and law enforcement agencies, no matter how effective they are, cannot identify every would-be mass-shooter, whether that individual is motivated by ISIL or some other hateful ideology. What we can and must do is make it harder for them to kill.
Because of course the only way to stop terrorism is to take your guns from you.
Gun sales are surging, following the insane pro-terrorist and anti-American statements from the African leader.

Firearm retail has become an increasingly lucrative business. FBI data shows that this year is on track to handily break records for highest number of background checks processed for gun sales. And in conservative West Texas, where gun culture roots go deep, gun stores are raking in the business.
Midland’s S&K Arms has been a runaway success since they opened last February, its owners said. November’s Black Friday sales were impressive, and sales on glocks and firearms drew learned shooters and first-time gun buyers alike.
But what was even more remarkable, they said, were total sales figures last Monday — the day following Obama’s Oval Office Address in the wake of the San Bernardino mass shooting.
“It was a busy Monday, to say the least,” said S&K Arms co-owner Kane Kolisek. That day, sales topped even Black Friday figures and remained high throughout the week.

Surges in gun sales after horrific shootings have become an ordinary occurrence. Fear of tighter gun-control measures has been a huge driver in spikes in sales. In the month of the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, after Obama advocated for a blanket assault rifle and high-capacity magazine ban, the FBI processed more background checks than any other month since the FBI began recording the data in 1998.
In the time following the Newton, Connecticut, massacre, gun sales at Midland’s TMP — an arms and truck accessories store–spiked by 40 percent, according to owner Collier Pennington.
“In December 2012, it was purely reaction driven. When the administration came out and said what they said after the Newtown shootings, business was unbelievable,” Pennington said. “We shut down three days before Christmas because we were sold out. Everybody was shut down. There was nothing else to grab.”
Throughout the following year, sales remained high. The year now holds the annual record for highest number of background checks, both nationwide and in Texas, according to FBI data, and will likely be outstripped by end-of-2015 totals if pace continues through this month.

Both stores, however, note a fast-growing segment of clientele: first-time gun owners. This trend indicates that the current wave of interest is driven more by personal defense than so-called ‘panic buying,’ or stockpiling firearms and ammunition in case of more restrictive gun laws became a reality.
“When people go out and start panic-buying stuff, they buy the stuff that’s most likely a target for a ban,” said Danny Anderson, S&K Arms assistant manager. “But that really hasn’t been what we’ve been selling. We’ve just been selling a lot of handguns, and a few ARs here and there, but nothing like the quality that we would expect when people are panic buying.”
“I think people are buying for their personal safety — it’s the environment of this town,” Pennington said. “I think Midland-Odessa has changed over the last 10, 15 years. Crime’s up, and you have a lot of people who have filtered into here. More people that may not have wanted a handgun are buying handguns.”
