Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson joins Matthew Heimbach for Tuesday’s edition of The Daily Traditionalist to look at political happenings around the White world. Dr Johnson is on location at the TWP headquarters for Thanksgiving so both hosts are in the same studio for once and this year of all years, is one that we should be giving thanks for. We are now reaping the harvest of what the Nationalist movement has been sowing for decades and there is lots to be looking forward to, from elections in France to referendums in Italy. Both hosts urge American listeners to spend time with their families over Thanksgiving and talk to them about our ideas.
The conversation moves to abortion and how tens of thousands of unborn White children are being murdered. Pope Francis has turned the whole Catholic faith on it’s head and is now saying that abortion technicians can be forgiven for the murders that they carry out. You do not need to be religious to know that abortion is wrong, but what is being said here is that Catholics can continue to abort without needing to repent and stop doing it. The Papacy is rejecting all its traditional positions on this and many other sins. How can any Catholic continue to support this man when he has perverted everything that went before him? He is also appointing lots of new cardinals in order to have his heresy continued after he has gone. Both Matt and Dr Johnson used to be Catholic and moved to Orthodox due to the changes that were being made. If this continues it wont be long before the Pope is rejected as being infallible by the Church.
Matt asks why the Orthodox Western Rite does not have more of a presence in Anglo-speaking countries, when the Catholic Church is in such a state? Martin Luther did not speak Greek, which may have been one reason why the Protestants did not return to Orthodoxy when they broke with Catholicism. Matt feels that the Orthodox world has failed in its outreach to western Europe and Dr Johnson thinks this is particularly due to factionalism among the members. The mystical tradition is also very hard to make sense of, but the pomp and ceremony is very appealing in the same way that Catholicism is and the Traditional Western Rite goes back to Ireland, Saxon England and ancient Gaul. It is a part of our folk traditions that goes back a very long way and is entwined with our folk customs from before then. When you eliminate these traditional ties and the intermediaries between us and God you end up with the State taking their place.
The factions among the Church are at the root of why Orthodoxy failed in Europe and we should take note that the same does not happen to the Alt-Right.
