Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson joins Sven Longshanks for Friday’s edition of The Daily Traditionalist to talk about his new paper, describing the situation in Ukraine. Sven plays devil’s advocate and asks how it can be justified, that parts of Ukraine can be be taken over by Russian speakers and declared new republics. Dr Johnson explains that the Donbass region has always had Russian speakers in it, they were not moved there by Stalin in his population resettlement programs.
Nationalism is about separate sovereign territories for separate ethnicities and this is exactly what has gone on here. After the Maidan coup, Russian speakers in Ukraine were marginalised with their language banned and many of them attacked. On top of this the industry in the areas that were majority Russian all started being sold off to the highest bidder. They revolted against this and set up their own republics, complete with a constitution banning oligarchs and implementing the nationalisation of important industries.
There has been no Russian invasion of Ukraine, there are not even any pictures of captured Russian soldiers. There are Russian volunteers there, but there are also mercenaries on the side of Ukraine. Dr Johnson gives us some shocking figures of the desertion rate in the Ukraine army and explains that this is the reason why they had to hire them. Ukrainians did not want to fight other Ukrainians, which is what they were being asked to do. The Ukrainian army is just another proxy army for America/EU/Israel, just like the Syrian Free Army in Syria.
Dr Johnson explains what happened during the coup and puts it in the context of the globalists desire to encroach on Russia’s sphere of influence, before pointing out that although the Western media is ignoring it and choosing to focus on Syria instead, the Ukraine situation is still very serious.
