A group of isolationists/libertarians are living in an extremely secluded area of the California desert. Many of them do not have any neighbors for at least ten miles in any direction.
Many of them are completely self-sufficient with their own power generators/solar panels and their own wells. They grow food and all the other stuff they need to not die.
The government is sending in armed squads of law enforcement to demand they tear down their homes and get on the cities water/power grids or be physically removed.
The government of California is literally sending in armed squads of cops to threaten American citizens who live in the ass end of nowhere while demanding we do nothing about illegals.
They are also pissing off libertarians and hermits. That is unlikely to end well since these people are obviously set in their ways enough to live like this and have obviously taken great effort to be isolated.
