So.

The government has “entered a partial shutdown” after the Democrats refused to give Trump $5 billion to build a wall.

The media acts as though this is the end of the world.

Literally, they’re losing their minds.

However: who actually cares?

All of my friends and family work for a living, and I don’t care if government employees starve to death.

The term “shutdown” isn’t even true. Nothing important shuts down. It’s like, NASA and the National Park Services.

I wish the whole thing would shut down, but that isn’t even close to what it is. They keep talking about how people aren’t getting their paychecks, like they’re going to starve. Who lives literally paycheck to paycheck?

Yeah.

Well.

Okay.

But this is not about people starving to death, there are no cannibals, we have not been nuked.

This is simply about Trump realizing he has to do what we want him to do, what he promised us he would do, and the Democrats attempting to stop him.

Certainly, no one cares about $5 billion dollars.

It’s the battle of the century.

And it’s the moment of truth for Trumptown.
