The Horrors of Bolshevism: “The Only Unviolated Sacred Buildings are the Synagogues”

This letter was written by a British soldier to his wife while serving in Russia in 1919. It was published by the Times newspaper. The horrors he describes are strikingly similar in many ways to those of the modern Islamic State, perhaps not surprising considering the Middle Eastern perpetrators involved in each case.
