Who are “The Shadow Brokers?” According to Wikipedia:
Their message claims that most of them are former intelligence agents, which is possible, I guess.
Not only have they released some NSA hacking tools, but they’ve also dumped some significant information on the activities of the intelligence organization.

I wouldn’t really recommend for anyone to download the tools, however taking a look at the documents could be helpful. There might be some very useful information in there in need of being analyzed and made public.
It’s very hard to say who the “Shadow Brokers” really are, and whose side they really are on. They could be a foreign group, they could be another part of the deep state doing some kind of obscure power play, or just random hackers with no official connections. But their leaks appear to be legit by all accounts.
They could also be an alien intelligence broker, trading secrets for space-cash.
