According to CNN’s Turkish affiliate, the Russians have been “buzzing” the USS Donald Cook.

As the situation in Syria continues to escalate, guided missile destroyer USS Donald Cook has weighed anchor off Syrian territorial waters, and is reportedly being “harassed” by low-flying Russian warplanes, which have buzzed the “Arleigh Burke” class warship at least four times…
I have heard of “buzzing” before in the context of jets flying up to enemy jets that have strayed into restricted airspace and “painting” them with their lock-on system.
Basically, the pilots get a warning that their jet is in someone’s crosshairs, and usually, that means it’s time to peel off and go back home. The Russians do this all the time with American spy planes flying into Russian territory.
Now, the USS Donald Cook is presumably preparing to lob a few missiles at Assad atm over the whole gassed babies false flag.

So the Russians are basically saying: bro. you better step off.

And there’s a Deep State backstory to this.
U.S. military planners have drawn up more than one option for possible military action against Syria, including a strike similar to last year’s attack in which 59 sea-launched cruise missiles inflicted heavy damage on a Syrian Air Force airfield in Homs.
Pentagon officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the options now are similar to those presented to President Trump after last year’s chemical attack in northern Syria that killed and injured hundreds of civilians, including women and children.
But officials said the president could decide to choose a more robust option this time, given that Syrian President Bashar Assad didn’t seem to get the message last time.
And the Israelis bombed a Syrian base/airfield yesterday as well.
Shit is dangerous, fam.
Remember both Russia and the US have expelled diplomats and are basically not talking to each other through official channels.
This is the same for Russia and the UK.
Anyways, if there’s any sliver of good news here, it is that Russia cooked the USS Donald Cook’s with some radar wave high tech laser beam when the ship decided to go into the Azov Sea a couple of months ago.

So, it might not be capable of going toe to toe with Russian air defenses and therefore won’t provoke anybody…
