There’s a new Libyan strongman in town and his name is Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
I like the cut of his jibe.
RT:
The commander of the Libyan National Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, said on Monday his troops launched an offensive to liberate Derna. The besieged city has been under the control of an Al-Qaeda linked group since December 2014.
Haftar, who holds sway over almost all eastern Libya except for Derna, announced on Monday that the long-anticipated offensive to rid the city of jihadists that pledged allegiance to the Al-Qaeda affiliated Majahedeen Shura Council has begun.
“The zero hour has struck for the liberation of Derna,” Haftar said, adding that his forces have already entered the city and were dismantling the terrorists’ “bastions.”
So basically this man is who we gotta crowdsource or sign a petition online or send bitcoin to because this is the man that will end the migrant crisis in Europe.
He’s the new Gadaffi.
All we gotta do is pay him some money every single year and he and his men will start rounding up Africans, and selling them as slaves to the Saudis like they used to in the good ol’ days.
See, European politicians have to cater to cat ladies and eunuchs. They never did what needed to be done to keep Europe safe. They needed to outsource that work to Gaddafi.
Until they fed him to the wolves
And then the Jews and Americans and Sarkozy decided to ruin a great deal that Gaddafi had going with Europe.
Quick translation: state-sponsored race-mixing is a top priority for my administration
But let me back up for a second and point out some worrying details about the new Gaddafi.
First of all, he helped the old Gaddafi take power in the sixties and then was left hanging in the wind after a failed operation in Chad.
Don’t mess with Chad.
He was whisked away to America where he spent years living in Virginia, near the CIA HQ, preparing a government in exile.
Reading about his background, it’s easy to form a mental picture of the guy – he’s a Machiavellian strongman who is willing to do what it takes to take power. He’s allied with pretty much every faction in Libya at one time or another and then fought with them later.
And there’s some complex politics going on in Libya. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and the US are all backing different horses.
Haftar’s Lybian National Army [LBA] is aligned with a government and parliament in eastern Libya, forming one of the two major power centers – the other being the rival UN-backed Government of National Accord in Tripoli, which controls much of western Libya.
The LBA has been backed by Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. Last May, Egypt carried out airstrikes in Libya targeting Derma in coordination with Haftar forces in response for the massacre of Coptic Christians in Egypt.
Overall though, I think Haftar has a mind of his own – despite having clear CIA connections.
Once he clears house in Libya, he will cut a deal with Europe similar to what Gadaffi had going. The Italians have already started paying him money to round up Africans and put them in camps.
So this guy is clearly willing to play ball here.
Overall, he’s our best bet. God knows Europe politicians would never do what need to be done, so we may as well have this dark knight do what needs to be done for us. He’s the hero we deserve.
