If pandering to evangelicals doesn’t work 100% because large numbers of them would prefer an irreligious guy who tells the truth than a super-Christian Goldman Sachs liar and dirty trickster, the solution is obviously to pander harder.
Glenn Beck is demanding a religious fast to use the power of prayer to beat Donald Trump.
That’s how religious these guys are – they fast for victory.
It isn’t clear how Beck will do the fast, as he is addicted to both hard liquor and fast food. As observers have put it, “the man lives hard and fast.”
Here’s a fun fact: Glenn Beck isn’t even a Protestant Christian – he’s a Mormon. A Mormon who converted from Catholicism at the age of 35.
How does that not come up as he plays the role of evangelical leader?
