Are we seeing a pattern to the killing of women?
A December trial has been scheduled for a man charged with killing two people in Cedar Rapids in 2014.
Last week Kendu Petties, 31, pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.
Petties’ trial is set to start during the middle of December.
He was arrested in Mesa, Arizona back in August on an Iowa warrant.
Police say 22-year-old Quintrell Perkins and 20-year-old Sierrah Simmons were fatally wounded on April 2, 2014, when shots were fired from outside the Cedar Rapids home they were in.
