St. Louis Police are now saying they have all four suspects in custody in connection with the shooting of an off-duty police officer in the Central West End.
So far, two suspects have been charged.
The alleged shooter has been identified as 23-year-old Dale Wolford.
Police and prosecutors believe it was Wolford who fired shots at the officer as he sat in his car on private security duty. One bullet hit his bulletproof vest.
Wolford has been charged with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, two counts of armed criminal action, and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
The alleged driver of the car, 27-year-old Edward Davis, has also been charged.
The final two suspects have not been identified.
