Okay, Donald.
We see the gesture, and we are appreciative of it.
Genuinely, this matters to me.
I am of course angry about a whole helluva lot. We all are.
But that doesn’t make this gesture, as an isolated gesture, any less meaningful.
Donald Trump has reportedly frozen $10 million (£7.7m) of grants destined to counter violent extremism in the US.
More than 30 organisations were pegged by former President Barack Obama’s office to receive funding, although the White House has since put the grants on hold pending review.
Among those approved were local governments, city police departments, universities and non-profit organisations fighting all forms of violent extremism in the US.
Former white supremacist Chuck Leek, who has since become a volunteer with Life After Hate – one of the organisations that was due to receive government funding – said the white supremacy movement was becoming more active.
“Life After Hate” is run by a “Syrian refugee” (probably actually from Pakistan), “Christian Picciolini,” who got kicked out of White Supremacy for fear that he was an ISIS infiltrator.
“Life After Hate” founder Christian Picciolini AKA Abdullah Bin Muhammad
I wrote an article about this guy recently. He’s just an insane liar. He says blacks don’t commit crimes and Jews don’t run Hollywood. He is also still promoting the Israel false flag prank calls – #Hoaxgate – as though they were done by Nazis.
“The white supremacist movement is far more active in the last six months than I have seen it in 10 or 12 years,” he told CBS.
He believes that if these organisations can help change even one person’s mind “it might be worth it, if that one person had been Dylann Roof or the Oklahoma City bomber.”
Why not just make arguments that change people’s minds?
You already have unlimited platforms.
How is this government money going to help you have better arguments?
If the actual goal is to stop Dylann Roof type acts – rather than to shut down freedom of speech and thought – than the government would be better giving the money directly do me, as I am someone who “white supremacists” actually listen to, and I have the goal of stopping people from doing Dylann Roof-type acts, as it harms my own agenda.
Dylann Roof said point blank in his manifesto that the reason he shot up that church was that he had no group to connect to. With our Book Clubs, we are trying to give people a way to connect to others, so they don’t feel helpless like Roof felt.
We are actively dong our best to prevent such actions.
So yeah – Trump should just give me the money.
Unless the goal is to try and manipulate people’s thoughts.
In which case, you should really just be upfront about that, you know.
Anyway, Trump
What we would really like to see is an investigation into the SPLC’s ties to antifa terrorist groups.
We just caught these guys hiring a violent street thug Antifa member, and it appears that they are funneling money into these groups. There is clearly a RICO case here. Both Ryan Lenz and Keegan Hankes are allegedly both active antifa, committing illegal acts of terrorism on the streets with the full knowledge of the SPLC.
That’s outside of the fact that they viciously violated their 501(c)(3) status by interfering with the election. At least they’re finally getting sued over that.
And on top of the fact that they are involved in a civil rights violation by openly attempting to silence my First Amendment rights through tortious interference with my financial dealings.
