This is what we planned.
Everything is going according to plan.
President Donald Trump is ordering the Pentagon and State Department to develop a series of “safe zones” in Syria, a move administration critics claims could draw the United States deeper into the country’s ongoing civil war.
The safe zone mandate was tucked into the text of a draft version of a White House executive order, which bans refugees from Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen and other conflict zones from emigrating to the United States. The order also institutes a revamped screening vetting process for all immigrants to the U.S.
Newly minted Pentagon chief James Mattis and incoming Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will have 90 days to submit a blueprint to the White House on the establishment of “safe areas in Syria and in the surrounding region in which Syrian nationals displaced from their homeland can await firm settlement,” according to a copy of the order, obtained by the Huffington Post.
On the campaign trail, then candidate Trump called for the creation of Syrian safe zones, as a way to curb the violence and bloodshed in the six-year war to oust President Bashar al-Assad.
“It’s so sad, and we’re going to help people,” he said during a campaign stop in Hershey, Pennsylvania in December. “We’ll build and help build safe zones in Syria, so people will have a chance,” he added according to the New York Times.
But questions over oversight and enforcement of the safe zones has raised concerns among U.S. national security officials, who argue such a commitment would tie American and allied forces down in the country indefinitely.
“Right now for us to control all of the airspace in Syria, it would require us to go to war against Syria and Russia [and] that’s a pretty fundamental decision that certainly I’m not going make,” Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph Dunford told congressional lawmakers in September on what would be needed from the U.S. to create safe zones in Syria.
“We have discussed that issue in the past under certain conditions,” former Pentagon chief Ashton Carter also told lawmakers at the time regarding a U.S.-enforced safe zone in the country.
The age of refugees is over.
If that stupid dog-faced, childless whore Merkel wants to keep flooding Europe with these sickening apes, she’s going to have to come up with a new excuse.
