It isn’t, in fact, happening. But it’s as close to happening as we’ve ever seen.
Alright, so the Trump administration pretended to fall for the gas baby meme so they could tomahawk Assad. They used international law as a justification (even though the bombing itself was illegal too). All of it is ridiculous.
But now we’ve got something far more worrying. If gassing babies is justification for bombing Assad, and If Trump is saying Russia shares in that responsibility, doesn’t that mean that America would be justified in bombing Russia as well?
And since it’s quite possible that more false flag attacks are on the way, these words are very dangerous.
President Trump said on Wednesday that Russia likely knew of the Syrian government’s plan to gas its own people in advance of a chemical weapons attack last week in northwestern Syria, asserting that United States relations with Moscow were at an “all-time low.”
Asked whether it was possible that Syrian forces could have launched the chemical attack without Russia’s knowledge, Mr. Trump said: “It’s certainly possible; I think it’s probably unlikely.”
What’s next? Did Russia hack our democracy, too?
“I would like to think that they didn’t know, but certainly they could have. They were there,” Mr. Trump said of the Russians during a news conference at the White House with Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of NATO.
The remarks amounted to an explosive suggestion at a time of heightened tension between the United States and Russia after the chemical attack, which was followed by American missile strikes on the airfield in Syria from which it was launched.
Even as they have intensified their criticism of Russia for backing President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, other senior Trump administration officials, including Jim Mattis, the secretary of defense, and Rex W. Tillerson, the secretary of state, have been careful to say there is no evidence proving that Moscow had foreknowledge the Assad regime planned to launch a sarin gas assault.
“Right now, we’re not getting along with Russia at all — we may be at an all-time low in terms of relationship with Russia,” Mr. Trump said on Wednesday. “This has built for a long period of time, but we’re going to see what happens.”
It’s hard to interpret this as anything other than a deliberate move to escalate tensions even higher than they already have. I mean, what exactly is Russia supposed to do to defuse this situation? Throw Assad under the bus and let ISIS take over Syria?
The only people who want that are the Jews.
A good guideline for action is: always do the opposite of what Jews say.
It’s clear that the Jews have been panicking at the prospect that ISIS could be destroyed without Assad being ousted. The issue isn’t with Assad himself, as he stated that he would step down as soon as the terrorists were put down. The issue is that the Jews want continued chaos in Syria, not any kind of peaceful and stable state – especially not a peace in which the Russians have a significant part to play.
The Jews want Russia out of the Middle East, so that their pet terrorists can continue to cause mayhem in all of the countries surrounding Israel, and thus secure their status as the only power in the region.
The problem is that Russia isn’t going to back down. They’re not going to leave. So this whole posturing game can only end in war, or in America stepping down, either of which would be a huge loss for Trump.
This is not a good move.
