Moving Jeff Sessions to lead the Department of Homeland Security would be an advantageous political move for many reasons.
Yesterday, Donald Trump announced that the Department of Homeland Security head John Kelly would now be his new Chief of Staff. This means there is now a vacancy in a key cabinet position.
If I were Trump, I would strongly consider moving Jeff Sessions from his current role as Attorney General and have him lead Homeland Security.
I doubt I’m the only person who has suggested this, but I think this move makes sense for a number of reasons.
Sessions is an immigration hawk who has recently been focusing on getting rid of MS-13 as Attorney General. He’s someone who could easily build on Kelly’s successes within DHS.
Moving Sessions into this role means that Trump is free to appoint a new Attorney General to oversee the special counsel dealing with the Russian kookspiracy. This new Attorney General would be in a position to end the Robert Mueller led witch hunt and deal with the numerous very real crimes committed by Democrats.
This sneaky Jew Rod Rosenstein needs to be immediately fired by the new Attorney General.
The new Attorney General could also begin with a blank slate and clean house. At the top of the list would be the Deputy Attorney General (((Rod Rosenstein))) along with other figures within the Department of Justice who have created problems for Trump’s agenda.
Most importantly, moving Sessions absolves Trump from having to directly fire him. Firing Sessions would generate a ton of criticism from Congress and a media firestorm. While they’ll still be critical of the move, an outright firing would be far worse.
I don’t even think Trump wants to fire Sessions. In fact, I’ve wondered if his Twitter rants about Sessions were staged to benefit Sessions. Those tweets took political heat off of Sessions and focused it on Trump. It made Sessions into a much more sympathetic figure. Members of Congress from both parties were articulating their support of him believing him to be a victim of crazy man Trump. Even if that analysis is incorrect, moving Sessions into this new role would be politically advantageous for the facts I just mentioned.
Theoretically, after Trump moves Sessions, he could make a recess appointment to install a new Attorney General. There’s also the possibility that he could temporarily appoint another cabinet officer who has already gone through the Senate confirmation process to serve as Acting Attorney General. This might be the best available option.
This move could easily be justified due to the fact that Senate Democrats have been slow walking the confirmation process for Trump’s political appointees. Chuck Grassley who heads the Senate Judicial Committee has also said that they wouldn’t confirm another Attorney General in 2017. That’s another justification right there.
Everybody in D.C. Shld b warned that the agenda for the judiciary Comm is set for rest of 2017. Judges first subcabinet 2nd / AG no way

Look, we know that there is a very good chance that people from the Trump administration read the Daily Stormer. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump himself reads some of our commentary. We are a powerful and growing voice that’s only going to get louder and stronger. We are the future of media. Not those overpaid fools jerking themselves off in a cubicle at the New York Times or the Washington Post.
People don’t read the articles Andrew Anglin, myself and the other guys on the staff write just because we use satire, goofy gifs, crazy memes and colorful language. We also have a solid understanding of politics and the problems we are faced with.
I do believe that what I laid out in this article is a viable path forward in helping the administration bury this Russian kookspiracy witch hunt. The administration should seriously consider this as an option.
