Well, this is refreshing.
President Donald Trump will be at the National Rifle Association convention in Dallas on Friday.
…
After a deadly school shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, Trump suggested he was open to new gun control measures. He held a meeting with senators, declaring that he would stand up to the gun lobby and calling for a “comprehensive” bill.
But Trump later backpedaled from those sweeping statements, offering a more limited plan. After he advocated increasing the minimum age to purchase an assault weapon to 21, Trump tweeted there was “not much political support” for the idea.
He definitely said some strange, confusing, offensive things.
I guess this is him symbolically apologizing for doing that?
I don’t even know anymore.
Call Nick Fuentes and get the 4D chess angle on all that.
I mean, I guess in the end there weren’t any meaningful restrictions. Other than the bump stocks thing. Which was symbolic, but still meaningful, as it is one less bargaining chip on the table.
I think we need to make it mandatory to own guns. Furthermore, I think we need to legalize certain forms of murder.
