Twitter has begun an aggressive purge of prominent Republican accounts.
They have banned Paul Town, Ricky Vaughn (again), John Rivers and Pax Dickson, among others.
Casualties today: @PaxDickinson @PaulTown_ @JohnRiversToo @RadixJournal @RichardBSpencer @DatRickyVaughn Twitter is on a censorship rampage!

This is the biggest political purge in Twitter history, according to The Daily Caller.
This pogrom against Republicans comes immediately after they introduced new “tools to combat hate.”
Twitter has such a bad troll problem that it may be the reason why Disney ultimately decided not to buy the social network. Now, even though it’s probably too late to change Disney’s mind, the company has enhanced a couple of features to help users get other abusive users off their backs. Over the coming days, you’ll be able to mute not just people, but also keywords and phrases, usernames, emojis and hashtags to make sure nothing cruel or insulting slips into your notifications. If people keep tagging you in a conversation you want no part of, you’ll be able to mute that thread to stop receiving notices, as well.
Besides giving you the power to mute anything you don’t want to see, Twitter is also putting other users’ well-being in your hands. Starting today, you’ll be able to report harassment and any hateful tweets directed not just towards you, but also towards other people, friends and strangers alike. So long as a tweet “targets people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or disease,” you can let Twitter know. The company says it refamiliarized its support team about its policies and improved its tools to be able to better address those reports.
It will be interesting to see where this goes. I think that much of the fun of Twitter – even for shitlibs – was in arguing with people they disagree with. While they claim they want to silence everyone, SJWs feed off of the negative energy of others – that is the nature of feminism (also a trait of feminized males).
As such, I’m not sure how exactly Twitter will be able to maintain its prominent role in the social networking market when it bans all non-SJW political accounts, and becomes a safespace hugbox. Because Facebook is already filling the role of communication with family and friends, pic sharing, dating, etc. – the basic social stuff – while also allowing people to keep up with celebrities, and tumblr pretty much fills the role of SJW hugbox.
So what function will Twitter have if they ban political discourse?
It seems to me they won’t have any purpose at all.
I have to say that similarly, a right-wing Twitter clone doesn’t have much purpose either. Everyone is saying “move to gab.ai,” but I’m not sure what role this is supposed to fill in our present internet landscape. We already have our own forums to share our ideas.
Granted, on a bantown version of Twitter, there would be a wider range of personalities than on our current forums – like, say, I could have an exchange with Vox Day, and ask him why he’s saying all these nasty things about me when I’ve bought his books and said only nice things about him. But that’s a relatively minor bit of utility in the larger scheme of things. The real fun of Twitter was being able to confront the political opposition directly, to force them to answer our questions.
Because gab.ai has already framed itself as a Twitter clone for the banned, it is not ever going to bring in Jewish journalists or left-wing celebrities for us to confront.
For the record, I am on the gab.ai waiting list, and will make an account in however many years it takes for me to get my invite, but I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use it. I’m not trying to write it off, I’m just laying out general impressions here.
The bottom line here is this: as much as it pains me to say it, whether or not Twitter continues to be a top platform, the golden age of social media trolling is most likely over.
But do not be dismayed. The Meme Wars have only just begun.
We will introduce new ways of trolling, including IRL trolling, snailmail trolling, telephone trolling, hoaxes, shoe company endorsements, etc.
And look.
We’re not done with Twitter.
We’ve got a big campaign coming up.
When you have time, create a fake black person account. Just go on black Twitter and see what they look like, copy that model. Start filling it with rap videos and booty-shaking or whatever else these blacks post. Read through their posts to get an idea of how they post. You need to be able to post in a manner which is indistinguishable from normal black tweeters.
We already have nearly a thousand of these accounts with post histories, so it won’t matter that some of yours are going to be new.
Twitter is about to learn what happens when you mess with Republicans.
Further orders to follow shortly.
