Twitter has now declared a war on trolls. They are claiming that trolls have created major problems for their social media service which values the promotion of Jewish propaganda and the stifling of political dissent.
Twitter is giving its users new powers to block internet trolls amid claims abusive behaviour is hampering the social media site from catching up with Facebook.
Bruce Daisley, the head of Twitter in Europe, said the site would give its 320 millions users new tools to protect them from trolls and expose the worst offenders by encouraging people to share lists of blocked users.
Twitter, which celebrates its tenth birthday next year, is worth more than £22 billion but is lagging behind Facebook, which has more than one billion users and a valuation of £167 billion.
As I mentioned a few days ago, Twitter suspended my account after just over three weeks of use with no specific explanation.
Sites like Twitter and Facebook are frauds. They sell their service as a place where people can freely exchange ideas. This is a lie as my account would not have been suspended otherwise. I wasn’t even really trying to troll anyone. I was simply criticizing the political philosophy of certain groups and individuals as well as posting links to articles.
This alleged war on trolls is really a war on free political discourse on their service. Trolling is nothing more than an Internet variation of satirical expression which has been in use for hundreds of years.
In light of this declared war on trolls, I am encouraging individuals to increase their trolling efforts on Twitter. The site should be flooded with satire and disinformation to the point where it can no longer function properly.
