"Screw you guys, this is stupid." -Rear Admiral Denis Berezovsky to the Jewish Revolutionary government of Kiev
“Screw you guys, this is stupid.” -Rear Admiral Denis Berezovsky to the Jewish Revolutionary government of Kiev

This is all becoming surreal.

BBC reports:

The newly appointed head of Ukraine’s navy has sworn allegiance to the Crimea region, in the presence of its unrecognised pro-Russian leader.

Rear Admiral Denys Berezovsky was only made head of the navy on Saturday, as the government in Kiev reacted to the threat of Russian invasion.

Ukraine’s interim leaders have put him under investigation for treason.

Presumably, the Admiral was concerned about his personal honor. For there is no honor among Jews and terrorists.  And there is honor a plenty among Russians.

But maybe he just knows Putin is going to win.

I, Berezovsky Denis, swear allegiance to the Crimean people and pledge to protect it, as required by the [army] regulations. I swear to take orders of Crimea and Sevastopol’s Supreme Commander.”

From RT:

The region’s Prime Minister Sergey Aksyonov announced the creation of Crimea’s Navy forces and appointed Berezovsky its head.

The Republic will have its own navy, which will be commanded by rear admiral Berezovsky,” Aksyonov told the journalists Sunday.

“Subsequently, this day will be considered the birthday of the naval forces of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” he added.

All Navy troops dislocated in Sevastopol are ordered to disregard any commands coming from Ukraine’s new self-proclaimed authorities,” the PM also declared. “Do not take any orders of using arms till my personal instructions.”

Aksyonov promised that “all soldiers, who’ll swear allegiance to the Crimean people, will retain their allowance, health and social benefits, military rank and position.”

As for those, who wouldn’t want to join the Crimean navy, they have the full right “to retire” and “won’t be prosecuted” afterwards, the PM stressed.

Also, Russian media has claimed that the Ukrainian Navy’s flagship, the Hetman Sahaidachny, has refused orders from Kiev and crossed over to the Russian side, returning home from the Gulf of Aden flying the Russian naval flag.

Though no one really knows, I am beginning to think that it was a pretty small minority of people, even of the Ukrainian speaking population, that supported this coup.  The terrorists occupying Kiev are likely to face attacks from all sides, from normal people who do not support their insane actions.
