Yeah, this is too common to be news.
Boynton Beach police arrested two caretakers from the Colonial Assisted Living facility and accused them of using duct tape to restrain a 67-year-old woman suffering from dementia.
The elderly woman was tied to a chair in another patient’s room and duct tape was used to tape her mouth shut.
Lashron Williams, 44, and Phygelle Brudent, 52, were arrested each on charges of false imprisonment and elder abuse Thursday. The two women are being held at the Main Detention Center in West Palm Beach.
