A man’s been told he will spend at least 22 years behind bars for the murder of a man in Welwyn Garden City earlier this year. 52 year old Paul Dillon was jailed at St Albans Crown Court for stabbing 26 year old Scott Stone.
The court heard Dillon was involved in a petty dispute with Mr Stone’s girlfriend who lived in the same block of flats.
Scott’s family said:
“We have been left absolutely devastated by the loss of Scott. Whilst we are pleased to see justice done today, nothing anyone can do or say will bring back Scott to us – we have all been robbed of a great son, a genuine friend and partner and his daughter has lost her father who she adored. “
