Shah Emran Ali, 31, was spotted by pupils as he pulled alongside their bus in the middle lane of a motorway while driving at around 60mph.
A motorist tried to prove he was not pleasuring himself as he overtook a coachload of schoolchildren by having his manhood measured at just three-and-a-half inches.
Shah Emran Ali, 31, was spotted by youngsters as he drove along in the middle lane of a motorway at around 60mph and pulled alongside their bus.
Their screams alerted teachers, who also saw what the business analyst was up to and they took down his registration number.
When police traced the father-of-three, he denied doing anything obscene and claimed he was simply scratching his privates because his ‘religious shaving’ was becoming itchy.
And when he was told witnesses had described him as ‘large’, he went to a medic to prove he did not measure up to their descriptions.
But a jury at Chester Crown Court were not convinced by Ali’s claims and convicted him of carrying out a sex act in front of the pupils as they set off on a school trip.
Ali, from Oldham, Greater Manchester, was jailed for six months and must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register.
The exposure happened on the M56 motorway near Ellemsere Port, Cheshire, as the children, from Derbyshire, were on their way to the Blue Planet Aquarium on July 8 last year.
A commotion broke out at the back of the bus which was carrying 58 pupils and seven staff when the youngsters complained about the Vauxhall Zafira driver.
Simon Rogers, prosecuting, said: “As he was doing it he was looking across at the coach and laughing.”
