Two men, Mizad Miah and Belal Ahmed have been jailed for a total of 24 years, after being convicted of rape and sexual assault of a woman they drugged in Bethnal Green.
CCTV footage released by police show two men drug a woman’s drink so one could rape and the other sexually assault her while she was incapacitated.
Crown Court found that the 21 year old woman knew them, with the two men tricking her into going into their car to visit a flat she was previously interested in renting.
Instead, the two men drove to a convenience store to buy some alcohol which they used to drug her into losing consciousness. After she fell asleep the two men began their sexual assault
CCTV footage show the two men lacing the alcohol with class A drug MDMA which rendered the woman completely unconscious, unable to defend herself against their assault and rape.
