When will the NYT call for banning Blacks?
WAPT:
A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison in a 2013 shooting outside a Jackson motel that killed a professional bass fisherman, court officials said.
Shaun Brown, 19, pleaded guilty Nov. 16 to a second-degree murder charge in Hinds County Circuit Court. He was originally charged with capital murder.
Brown was arrested three days after the shooting. Jackson police said at the time that the then-17-year-old confessed to killing James “Jimmy” Johnson in the parking lot of the Motel 6 off Instate 55. But Brown denied the accusations days later as he walked to a court hearing.
Johnson was in town to compete in Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open tournament on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. His family said Johnson was killed after he found someone burglarizing his boat.
