Pictures from History: Evil white racists enriched by St. Nelson Mandela in the Church street bombing, 1983.
Decolonization of South African institutions has been a somewhat gradual process since the end of apartheid (a system wherein the White minority genocided and enslaved the Black majority just for the color of their skin).
However, thankfully, the wonderful work of brave comrades is being done, just as actively today as it was before!
Local newspaper‚ the Bloemfontein Courant‚ reported that the fire broke out during a scuffle between police and angry workers affiliated to Samwu. Workers are reportedly in dispute with the city over a promised salary increase.
Police are investigating‚ with Brigadier Motantsi Makhele telling OFM news: “Three workers were arrested earlier‚ but we are still continuing with the investigation.”
The sandstone building is a national conservation area.
Evil. Colonialist. White Supremacist.
Diverse. Enriched. Decolonized.
Built in 1935‚ SAhistory.org states it was designed by Sir Gordon Leith. The Bloemfontein City Hall leads into the Clarendon Hall‚ known for its two large granite bowls either side of the western entrance which is the same as the Viceroy’s House in New Delhi‚ India. This is attributed to Leith knowing Edwin Lutyens‚ the architect of Viceroy’s House‚ in India.
Some racists may have a problem with this, they’re just afraid of change.
Can you believe some backward people actually oppose this wonderful transformation?
South Africans reacted with shock to the fire.
This is almost as shocking as that time I put a toaster in my bathtub and had to eat wet toast for breakfast.
Don’t worry though. The Black Marxist-Leninist government is reacting swiftly to this act: the three good boys involved with the largely peaceful protests have been granted bail of R1000 each (roughly 77 US dollars and some change) – provided they get back to work serving the community as soon as possible, and hopefully avoid doing any more riots in the meantime.
Evil white racists basking in their privilege. We still have a Long Walk to Freedom ahead of us!
The community is keeping its spirits up, however. The very next day they were amassed chanting wonderful songs about their brave struggle against apartheid:
We shall overcome this vicious White Supremacy ™!
