Perhaps he was trying to teach primitive whites a lesson.
Two men were victims of armed robbery in Holland Township on Sunday, Feb. 25, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
The first incident took place at 5:35 p.m. at the Speedway gas station at 461 Butternut Drive. The victim of the first robbery told police he pulled into the gas station and a “young-looking black male displayed a knife and demanded money,” said Sgt. Matt Wildfong. The victim was able to get away without injuries and drove to a separate location to report the crime.
Five hours later, a pedestrian was approached by a male of the same description on Butternut Drive.
At 10:38 p.m., a pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk at the intersection of Butternut Drive and James Street. A young black male approached the pedestrian from behind and demanded money. When the victim told the suspect he didn’t have any money, the suspect “lunged toward him with a knife and stabbed him,” Wildfong said.
