The same paper lobbying for endless war for various reasons, including to fight ISIS, is now admitting they only control two villages.
A pair of dusty villages in the Syrian desert is all that remains of the vast expanse of territory the Islamic State once called its caliphate, and the complete territorial defeat of the militant group appears to be imminent, according to U.S. and Kurdish officials.
A few hundred of the most die-hard Islamic State fighters are making their last stand in the villages of Marashida and Baghuz Fawqani on the banks of the Euphrates River, a few miles from the Iraqi border in southeastern Syria. With the Syrian army on the other side of the river, a group that once controlled an area the size of Britain is pinned down by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in a dot of land measuring six square miles.
It is now only a matter of weeks or even days before the villages are overrun and the Islamic State’s vaunted state-building enterprise in Syria and Iraq is brought to an end, military officials say.
The conclusion of the 4½ -year war will also add urgency to the question of when and how the United States will pull its forces out of Syria, as ordered by President Trump last month. He later said they would remain to finish the fight against the Islamic State, and still no date has been set for their withdrawal.
Of course, we all know that the reason for the war is not “to fight ISIS,” but “because the Jews.”
As mad as we are at Trump, we do have to give him credit for the Syria thing.
That was a big deal.
Of course, if he continues to fail to build a wall, it won’t matter, because whoever gets in in 2020 will just go full-on World War III for the Jews.
They can come up with any excuse. Excuses are not an issue. It doesn’t even have to make sense. When the machine goes into action and everyone on the media is saying the exact same thing at the exact same time, everyone goes along with it. That is simply the basic order of our society.
We are run by the media. A mediocracy, if you will.
There is literally no Democrat candidate that wouldn’t do full WWIII, other than /oursamoan/ Tulsi Gabbard.
And there is no real chance that she is going to win, no chance she will get a cabinet position, and really no chance she will even be able to keep her seat in the House.
The entire machine has already gone into full-shutdown mode against her, and it will destroy her, as it destroys everyone.
