We Should Have Already Banned Trench Coats, tbh

I’ve been calling for the fashion police for years – although I don’t think they should be established until after we’ve established the fat police.

Being totally unfashionable, like being fat, is an aggressive, anti-social action.

Breitbart:

Talk show host and MSBNC personality Hugh Hewitt took time Monday to discuss the Santa Fe High School shooting and floated the idea of banning trench coats in schools.

He stressed the left’s go-to gun controls would not have done anything to prevent the attacker from using a .38 revolver and a shotgun to kill ten students. The Santa Fe High School attacker hid the shotgun under his trench coat in order to get it into the school and Hewitt reacted to this news by stressing that school personnel must work to identify possible shooters–based on their behavior, dress, and social media posts–going forward.

The Hill quoted Hewitt saying, “This is about identifying and segregating individuals away from guns who are not in the position to own them with due process protection.” He added, “To the teachers and administrators out there, the trench coat is kind of a giveaway. You might just say no more trench coats. The creepy people, make a list, check it twice.”

It actually seems like he was generally talking about weirdos, even though all the headlines are “goofy guy says ban trenchcoats”… but I think it’s been a while since he’s been in high school.

This is the only place on YouTube that has the actual clip.

When I was in high school, there were a bunch of weirdos. And that was… like 15 years ago now.

I can’t even imagine the situation now.

And they’re not teaching fashion in high school. So how was he supposed to know how cringe this shit was?

Also, am I the only one who keeps seeing this picture and thinking it’s a jumpsuit, not a trench coat?

Plus, this shooter had a girlfriend at some point, according to reports, so if he had any girlfriend at all than he wasn’t like, ultra-anti-social.

I’m sticking with the story that this all comes down to the bitch who humiliated him, then he went ahead and killed a bunch of brown people and sluts because hey, he’s going away either way.

However, if this starts a discussion about establishing a fashion police force in America – hey, I’m all for it.

The first people to get the bullet are people who wear baggy jeans and claim that fitted jeans are the same thing as tight jeans.

And people who wear t-shirts with band names or really any writing on them at all.

Look – go on /fa/ and post pictures of what you wear. Just take full body selfies, including the shoes.

See what happens.

This is 2018 and if you’re still walking around in baggy ass jeans like a fucking asshole, you need to grow up and get your life together.

The way you present yourself to the world DOES MATTER. And that is what fashion is – IT IS THE PHYSICAL PRESENTATION OF YOURSELF AS A PERSON.

That is not the same thing as being trendy. There are some trendies on /fa/, but generally they have a solid, practical approach.

Not dressing like a complete fucking asshole will make women more interested and it will make men respect you more. It will increase your self-esteem.

Get your shit together, don’t wear cringy, fag shit.
