A Hollywood teenager whose brutal beating was captured on cell phone videos recorded by her attackers took the stand Tuesday to describe the night she was set upon by five friends and raped.

The girl, whose name is being withheld because of the nature of the crime, is now nearly 18. She told jurors that she went to the home of Jayvon Woolfork, 20, on Nov. 1, 2013, because she was invited there by mutual friends, including Patricia Montes, then 15, whom she had known since kindergarten.

Woolfork is on trial for kidnapping and sexual battery and faces life in prison if convicted. Montes and three other teens involved in the attack have entered guilty pleas in exchange for youthful offender sentences. Woolfork, the only one who was over 18 at the time and the only one accused of having sex with the victim, rejected a plea offer in June that would have sent him to prison for 10 years.

Prosecutor Maria Schneider said at the time that she wanted to spare the victim from having to testify and relive the events of that night.
