Police looking for the family of an eight-year-old boy who was not picked up from school discovered three bodies in a Salt Lake City home.
Two of the victims have been identified as the boy’s grandmother – 50-year-old Heike Poike – and his two-month-old sister Lyrik Poike. They had been shot, Fox 13 reported.
The third victim is male but has not yet been named, according to KUTV.
Detective Dennis McGowan said police found the bodies on Friday around 6pm while looking for the family of the boy – who is a pupil at Escalante Elementary School.

Alexander Hung Tran, 32, who was living in the basement apartment below the family’s home, was arrested on Saturday and faces three counts of aggravated murder in connection to the deaths.
