The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with a Second Degree Battery that occurred on December 12, 2014, near the intersection of Bourbon and Bienville Streets.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., the suspect and an unknown female pulled up in a truck and became engaged in a verbal altercation with a construction worker. As the altercation escalated, the female passenger exited the truck and began yelling at bystanders in the area. While the suspect was walking back to his vehicle, he encountered a 49-year-old male who he then punched in the face multiple times. The suspect subsequently jumped into the back of the truck as the female drove away.
The victim sustained a broken nose, fractured cheekbone, and a fractured sinus cavity requiring surgery.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6’4” tall and weighing approximately 250 pounds.
The vehicle was described as a silver Chevrolet Silverado with tinted windows and a temporary tag# 15036947.
