White Man and His 2 Dogs Shot and Killed by Black

A White man in his thirties was found shot.

St. Louis police say a man and his two dogs were all shot and killed in the parking lot of a Subway restaurant on Hampton Avenue, just south of I-64 around 5:30 Friday evening.

When officers got to the scene, they found a white man in his mid-30s shot in the neck.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

According to the Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force, two dogs belonging to the victim were also shot.

A 2 year-old female Pit Bull/Boxer mix died at the scene.

A 2-3 year-old male Pit Bull/Boxer mix was taken to the Animal Emergency Center, where he, too, was pronounced dead.

St. Louis Police Lt. Clifford States says, “Seen on the scene was a black male suspect, who was last seen traveling northbound on Hampton from this location.

And the investigation is still ongoing at this time.”Police are still investigating a motive in this shooting. It is not yet clear whether the suspect and victim knew each other.
