Allegheny County Police are calling the death of a McKees Rocks man a homicide.
Back on May 26, 44-year-old David Poole was walking home with a friend near the West Park neighborhood in the Stowe Township/McKees Rocks area.
Poole and his friend were attacked by three men and robbed of $60 in cash. Poole was struck on the head with an object during the robbery.
He passed away Saturday morning at a local hospital from his injuries. County police have ruled the death a homicide.
The thieves also stole Poole’s friend’s purse and his cell phone.
So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
