Over the weekend, a North Texas woman saw a familiar face on the news.
“He’s being walked in the jumpsuit, and it’s all very upsetting.”
She said Antonio Lamar Cochran — the suspect in the Zoe Hastings murder — was one of her Facebook friends.
“I could hardly go to bed last night; I just kept thinking of that poor family and that poor girl and how scared she must have been, and it’s devastating,” the woman said.
Her sadness was coupled with great fear. “It very well could’ve been me.”
The woman, who asked that we not use her name, said Cochran friended her on Facebook last May, and that she accepted because he was a friend of a friend.
“He seemed perfectly normal… perfectly nice,” she said.
