In 2009 a White man killed this Black when he and another nog attempted to rob the pharmacy he worked at.
Not having a great urge to relax around these Blacks, he took out a gun and shot him before chasing the other off.
He then proceeded to pump another five rounds into the downed dindu.
Now you can of course say that this was vigilantism, but morally he did nothing wrong.
Hopefully his sentence is actually reduced or ended early.
Also yes, I was confused by the hero’s name at first too.
A former Oklahoma City pharmacist has passed the first step in getting his sentence reduced.
Jerome Ersland was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole on a first degree murder conviction after killing would-be robber Antwun Parker in May 2009 at Reliable Pharmacy. Surveillance video showed Ersland shooting and wounding Parker during the robbery and then returning to the pharmacy and firing five more shots into his body.
Ersland has been granted a hearing to explain why he thinks his sentence should be commuted. Of the 52 prisoners who requested a hearing last month, only Ersland made it to the second step.
