This is a parody video, presumably put together by anti-racists, or people who would present themselves that way, but which actually contains a lot of truth.
Of course we all want to be with our own kind. Jews and blacks both have their own dating sites.
There is a pop punk band called the Gaslight Anthem – Irish boys from Jersey – which is not very good, but kinda fun compared to most unbearable pop music.
They have a song called “Keepsake” with the lyrics “I just want to love someone who has the same blood as me.”
This would of course be framed as a metaphor for “the same spirit” or something, if they were asked, but without the same blood in the literal sense, how could we have the same spirit in the metaphorical sense?
