Why Can’t We Rehabilitate Bill Cosby Tho?

Bill Cosby’s Twitter released a Father’s Day tweet on Sunday with “Hey, Hey, Hey…It’s America’s Dad” and a video from the 70s of him talking about the legacy of slavery.

The question here is: why shouldn’t this be okay?

I mean, sure, he raped all those women.

But what does that have to do with anything?

Martin Luther King, Jr. was a preacher who brought his parishioners back to his hotel room for prayer sessions and laughed when they got raped.

He was also a communist and a plagiarist, two things that no one has ever accused Bill Cosby of.

Bill Cosby is objectively a better person than MLK.

So why can’t he continue to be a black hero?

At least his message was good for the black community, in part. He told them to pull their pants up and stop blaming white people for their problems.

If you’re going to set a litmus test where you can’t be a hero for the black community if you’re a serial rapist, then guess what – there aren’t going to be any black heroes.

It’s time to move on.

Bill Cosby is fine.

His real crime was sending lawyers after Justin Roiland, the guy who made “The House of Cosbys” internet cartoon (and later Rick and Morty).

That shit was hilarious.

Should have been on Adult Swim instead of Rick and Morty.

I don’t see any reason why there shouldn’t be streets named after Bill Cosby.
