Appeal: Police want to speak to this man, captured on CCTV, as part of their enquiries.
The victim had been in Browns bar on Glovers Court in Preston city centre and was talking to a man inside the premises.
After leaving the bar, she was taken to an address on Avenham Lane, where she told police she was sexually assaulted.
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with the incident and are appealing for him, or anyone who knows him to come forward.
Det Sgt Steve Ryder, who is investigating, said: “I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this man speaking to the victim inside Browns between the hours of 1am and 3am on Saturday, September 21.
