Since there’s only like 5,000 people who live in Wyoming, the GOP Caucus results of this state don’t matter much.
I just spent the past 5 minutes trying to figure out the GOP’s Caucus process in Wyoming.
It sounds as if party insiders get together in the different counties and pick who they are awarding delegates to.
Pretty terrible process from everything I read but it explains why the subversive Cuban duo of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have gotten most of the available delegates. The vast majority of them went for Cruz.
Combine that with the fact that Wyoming’s population has a significant number of religious weirdos and that further explains the result.
The Caucus process in many of these states is a highly questionable process. Wyoming’s is the most questionable I’ve seen yet. In any of the traditional primary states, Donald Trump has dominated.
