Nathan Hall was shot in the head when he went to meet up with Blacks for a drug deal.

Police say an 18-year-old Clay High School student was killed over a drug deal gone bad.

The St. Joseph County prosecutor’s office has charged another teen, 18-year-old Shane Williams, with the April murder of Nathan Hall.

Police were called to the 1400 block of North Adams Street on April 16 after a ShotSpotter alert was issued. When they arrived, they found Hall suffered from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Hall was a student at South Bend’s Clay High School.

JERMAINE MUNN
Jermaine Doushion Munn Jr has been arrested for the crime too.

Witnesses tell police Williams contacted Hall over Facebook to meet for a marijuana deal, but that Williams and another person allegedly planned to rob Hall at the meeting location.

Police say Williams and this other person met up with Hall at that location, but at the meeting, the other person allegedly shot Hall and Williams took the money and an “eightie” of marijuana.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police are still looking for the person who they think pulled the trigger. They have not released that person’s name.

Williams is currently being held at the St. Joseph County Jail, charged with murder and robbery.

He already has open cases of robbery, auto theft and a burglary, breaking and entering charge filed just hours after the shooting.

Williams is scheduled to make a court appearance on his latest charges Friday afternoon.
