This has really gotten cartoonish.
Now even the people who are leading the protection against infection of the virus are getting it.
Three members of the White House coronavirus taskforce have placed themselves in self-quarantine after contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. It comes as the British prime minister, Boris Johnson, prepares to unveil his “roadmap” to a new normality in a national broadcast and global infections pass four million.
Dr Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, Stephen Hahn, are all expected to work remotely due to potential exposure to Covid-19.
Fauci’s institute said that he has tested negative for Covid-19 and will continue to be tested regularly. It added that he is considered at relatively low risk based on the degree of his exposure, and that he would be taking appropriate precautions to mitigate the risk to personal contacts while still carrying out his duties. While he will stay at home and telework, Fauci will go to the White House if called and take every precaution, the institute said.
Redfield will be teleworking for the next two weeks after it was determined he had a low-risk exposure to a person at the White House, the CDC said in a statement Saturday evening. The statement said he felt fine and has no symptoms.
A few hours earlier, the Food and Drug Administration confirmed that Hahn had come in contact with someone who had tested positive and was in self-quarantine for the next two weeks. He tested negative for the virus.
All three men were scheduled to testify before a Senate committee on Tuesday, and it’s understood they will be allowed to do that via videoconference.
Here’s the thing: everyone is going to get the virus.
That was always the thing.
The original purpose of the lockdown was to “flatten the curve,” which meant to slow the rate at which people got infected so that the hospitals would not be overwhelmed and everyone who needed treatment for the virus – or for whatever other health problems they might have – could get the treatment. There was never a plan to prevent exposure indefinitely until after we were already locked down.
After the lockdown began, it was obvious that the hospitals wouldn’t be overwhelmed, so the idea of completely preventing any exposure was formulated, and they just started fear-mongering like mad and saying pretty much whatever.
There was never any way to stop everyone from being exposed to the virus, at least after the decision was made to not quarantine the entire country by closing the borders. After that was decided, it was understood that there was no way to prevent everyone from being infected.
New Zealand is celebrating that they “eliminated” the virus, but this means that they can never let anyone enter their country ever again. If the virus somehow gets in – it can live on plastic surfaces for days, and could be shipped in accidentally – the whole thing starts over again for them.
This is all just lunacy.
Now even the heads of the organizations saying we have to keep people from getting infected are infected.
So will we now be able to give up the charade of preventing infection? Are we now at the point where no one can take this seriously anymore?
Probably not.
Because none of this has anything at all to do with public health. It is all about creating a brutal new global government system. A part of that is collapsing the economy, a bigger part of that is taking away all of your most basic freedoms. These things are not side effects of a virus. They are the primary goal of an agenda for which a virus was simply an excuse to implement.
